They are still alive
This year they are surviving. We had a little attrition after we first released them, a few evenings some of them weren’t smart (or scared) enough to come into the coop and didn’t survive the night, but we have had 18 for a few weeks now. Last year by this time we were losing half the flock every day, the birds were being brazenly picked off by foxes and other predators. This year, it seems the predators aren’t around as the rabbits population has also boomed. Our fingers are crossed and we are looking forward to seeing what these things look like, and do, when they mature beyond adolescence.
